I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
when it comes to gay porn with plot, NakedSword is one
of the top contenders for studio of the century. Having
reviewed nearly one hundred films over the last year and
dealing (quite intimately) with hundreds more as my job
requires, I like to think of myself a fledgling gay porn
connoisseur. To that end, I’m finding myself more
and more impressed with the quality of NakedSword’s
productions. Is porn about sex? Of course it is, but a
little storyline never hurts and can be quite entertaining
when done correctly. When it comes to combining storylines
with ridiculously hot sex scenes, NakedSword definitely
sets the bar.
Golden
Gate Season 5: The Cover Up begins at a demonstration
concerning a newly enacted ban on nudity in San Francisco,
an ordinance introduced by Supervisor Scott Cox (Dale
Cooper). Supporters from both sides have shown up to voice
their opinions, but when Logan Stevens joins a small group
of protestors who strip down to get their point across,
he’s taken into police custody by Caleb Colton. Logan
soon finds himself at the mercy of the hunky SFPD officer,
who decides that a flip-flop fuck with Logan is more than
enough punishment for his crime. Next, J.D. Phoenix shows
up uninvited to confront Cox at his office, and while
his line delivery is a bit shaky, J.D. delivers a fantastic-looking
tight ass that Cox seems to really enjoy eating and fucking.
After
meeting at the protest, Logan Vaughn follows Tommy Defendi
to the aptly-named Nob Hill neighborhood for an orgy of
epic proportions that also involves Brian Yau, Damien
Stone, Blake Daniels, and Danimal. The film’s final
hook-up comes courtesy of Christian Wilde (who plays Cox’s
boyfriend – yes, the man who banned nudity is openly
gay) and Austin Wilde (no relation), who plays Christian’s
ex-flame. They heat things up one more time and…
wait for it… Christian bottoms! Albeit he looks a
good deal more comfortable when he finally sticks his
dick in Austin’s ass, it’s incredibly hot to
watch a man who’s usually a top submit to another
man’s cock. In the bonus scene you get to see Christian
playing with a number of ass toys too, so added points
for that.
I
imagine it would be very easy to take the plot of Golden
Gate 5 and make an awful and cheesy film, but director
Mr. Pam never even comes close to walking that line. Aside
from a couple of slightly lackluster performances from
men who are used to delivering lines only with their bodies,
it’s a fantastic addition to the Naked Sword library.
Here’s hoping there’s a Golden Gate 6!
