Experience is the best teacher!
In
"The English Student," director George Duroy gives the
star treatment to one of his most popular players, the
long, lanky Julian Armanis, whose infectious warmth, enthusiastic
versatility, and photogenic physical attributes have brightened
any number of Bel Ami productions. Here, he plays himself,
and in the webbing that interlaces the sex scenes, he
sit at his desk and concentrates on increasing his vocabulary.
Each new word introduces one of the seven couplings that
comprise the film, and he appears in three of them topping
in two and flip-flopping in the third.
As
is to be expected, the cast is filled with beautiful Eastern
European boy-men, one more attractive than the next, and
all exquisitely captured in the heat of rapturous sexplay
by Duroy's loving camera. The first new word is "Cruising,"
and indeed he defines it correctly as we see him making
contact at a soccer game with a compact little brunette
(Nico Tiziani, certainly the most delectable of the newcomers
in the film). In no time, the action has segued to a deserted,
graffiti-sprayed house, where they get together to exchange
blowjobs before Armanis plows into his newfound friend.
Both are notably endowed, both seem equally fascinated
with each other (and the camera), and both are as affectionate
as they are lustful.
